Renpower install a range of wind turbines. We have included a few examples below of systems that customers have found very popular.
Future Energy 1 kW
Available in 12V, 24V, 36V & 48V DC versions, this UK manufactured, mechanically furling tail fin turbine with permanent magnet generator is suitable for battery charging, water/air heating and Grid-Tie installations.
We don’t recommend ‘building-mounted’ installations, other than for steel-framed and other industrial buildings.

Proven 6 kW
The Proven 6 produces 6kW of power and is suited to a wide range of applications. This turbine model will supply the equivalent electricity for a standard 4-6 bedroom house, excluding heating, with the potential to store or sell excess production to the grid.
Ideal in a range of applications a Proven 6 has been widely adopted and used in schools, local authority buildings, agricultural small holdings, business and retail premises..

Proven 15 kW
The Proven 15 is the largest of their available models and is currently available in an emulation version. The Proven 15 could supply the equivalent to six 3 bedroom houses, again with the potential to store or sell excess production to the grid.
The Proven 15 is also ideal for commercial applications such as agriculture, small industrial units and mini wind farms.

We definitely advise a site assessment for turbines over 15kW or if you require multiple turbines. For larger installations we would also recommend wind monitoring for a period of time so the investment case is well understood.
Wind turbines combine very well with solar PV systems as typically peak power is generated at different times through the day and through the year. Combining the two offers a great way to increase availability of your renewable energy around the year.
Why not be a wind pioneer? You’ll save money on electricity bills, know that you are making a worthwhile contribution towards preventing climate change and also you’ll be hosting a noteworthy local feature that represents a signpost to the future. If you are not sure where to start ask about our rapid scoping reports summarising project viability and spelling out what tasks need to be done to move the project forward to successful implementation.
